Nomlas Coffee Farms, owned and operated by the Salmon family for over three decades, has flourished under the visionary leadership of founder Donald Salmon. Our dedication to sustainable coffee farming practices and diversification has elevated this family-owned enterprise.

Nestled in the picturesque Sir John's Peak, at an impressive elevation of 5,000 ft., in the mountainous region of Jamaica, Nomlas Coffee Farms benefit from the unique conditions of the officially recognized Blue Mountain coffee area. The altitude at Sir John's Peak plays a significant role in the coffee's development, contributing to its exceptional quality. The farms boast a diverse blend of trees adding a delightful layer of complexity to the coffee's character. 

With direct access to the farms, Nomlas Coffee Shop is proud to offer the highest quality Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee. Every step of the coffee's production is meticulously executed to accentuate its finest attributes. The beans are presented in a beautiful medium roast that awakens the senses with its rich aroma. Upon tasting, the coffee reveals an exceptionally smooth and naturally sweet flavor profile, complemented by delicate hints of praline and floral undertones. Its brighter flavor distinguishes it from traditional flat bean coffees, while the finish remains velvety, creamy, and pleasantly lingering, providing a luxuriously soft mouthfeel.

The harvesting period spans from November to July annually, with the pinnacle occurring during March and April.

Beans are handpicked by highly skill labor force mainly women.

In California, on the other side of the ocean, Coffee Quintessence takes on the essential role of expertly roasting the beans to perfection. Nomlas Farms is a member of the Jamaica Coffee Growers Association. Our Regulatory Authority formerly The Coffee Industry Board (CIB) now known as Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA) set standards which must be met by all exporters.
